I can't believe I'm this late to Whitestone Dome, but I will continue to use this screen protector on every phone I own. My previously naked phone had developed a few scratches, one of which was noticeably deep and just irked the heck out of me. I heard that the glue used in this kit actually fills in scratches, so I figured I would try it. My screen is now FLAWLESS; just. like. new. Trust.Installation was..... intimidating, mostly because there are 2 instruction sheets, with some conflicting information, and not all included parts are labeled and/or explained. Listen. Take a deep breath, throw all the instruction sheets aside, and watch a few YouTube videos. There are several guys who take you through the process very clearly, and only then did I feel confident enough to try it.What helped for me:- I laid everything out on the table in the order that I would need to reach for things. Helped, a lot.- Make sure your work surface is LEVEL. This is critical. I laid my phone down and then poured a small blob of water on the screen to make sure it would not move due to gravity/being not level. If this water blob moves at all, you don't have a good work surface and your install will fail.- I sprayed Lysol all over the air and then allowed it to settle. I do believe this helped calm down floating particles and dust before starting. Some people recommend to work in your bathroom and run a hot shower first. Eh. You do not want one single dust particle to leave a dreaded air bubble under your new screen.- After the first round of curing (15 sec, top and bottom) and before the second round of one minute curings, gently apply pressure all around the area where your fingerprint sensor is. I did this and did not have to reprogram my fingerprints as recommended. They still worked.- Just do it. Its actually super fun and I would install one again tomorrow!
